KAO Kuusamo
At KAO, you can complete your upper secondary vocational studies as day, multi-stage or apprenticeship training.
You can choose from undergraduate, vocational and professional qualifications.
There are a wide range of programmes, including natural resources, social and health sciences, engineering and transport, tourism and catering, and business and administration.
North-East Finland Adult Education
“Aikkari” is based in Kuusamo and offers vocational qualifications in entrepreneurship, nature management, close management, cleaning and property services and business.
It also offers apprenticeships, short courses and labour market training.

Kuusamo University is a centre of liberal education for all ages.
Its doors are open to both local students and students from outside Kuusamo, regardless of their level of education.
The college has three liberal arts colleges: the folk college, the community college and the summer university.
Kuusamo University’s facilities are located on its own cosy campus in the centre of town, close to city services.
Kuusamo University is well known for its photography line, among other things.
