Finland’s Northeast consists of three towns—Kuusamo, Posio, and Taivalkoski—and plenty of wild, unique, beautiful, and wonderful nature in and around them.
Things to do, things to simply admire and enjoy. 200 days of snow, and summer nights when it never gets dark (and you can enjoy it – let’s say – by going to a techno festival on top of a fjell). National parks, rapids, lakes, forests. And on the other hand, Finland’s most popular ski resort, culture, services, and the working infrastructure of a safe, sensible country that’s been chosen as the happiest in the world multiple times.
We welcome you to visit—and to settle. To find your place in the sweet-spot corner of the world. It’s not for everyone. But we have a hunch it could be the one for you.
