Rules of the competitions

Competition rules Naturpolis Oy

The rules apply to competitions and prize draws organised on Naturpolis Ltd’s website and social media channels (including the maanpinnalla.fi website and channels).
The competition is organised by Naturpolis Ltd.
Participation is open to all natural persons permanently resident in Finland, as specified in the competition rules.
Employees of the company who have been involved in the organisation of the competition or draw are not eligible to participate.
Participation in the competition or the prize draw is done in the manner indicated in the description of the competition, either by sending the information required for participation by e-mail to info@naturpolis.fi, by liking and/or commenting on the relevant publication on social media channels or by filling in a form on the website.
The selection of the winner of a competition or prize draw will take place at the end of the relevant competition at the time indicated on the website or social media channel.
The winner may also be selected on the basis of the requested entry criteria.
Naturpolis Ltd reserves the right to edit the material or not to select a winner.
The prizes for the competition will be drawn or awarded on the basis of the criteria set out in the relevant competition announcement.
The prizes must be claimed within one month of the publication of the winners’ names, unless otherwise stated in the competition description.
Unless otherwise stated in the competition publication, the prizes will be claimed at the offices of Naturpolis Ltd. at Nuottatie 6, 93600 Kuusamo.
By entering the competition, the participant accepts these rules.
By entering the competition, the entrant also agrees to the publication of his/her name and photo on Naturpolis Ltd’s channels, including the website and social media channels and any print media publications.
Naturpolis Ltd will ensure that prizes with a value greater than a negligible amount are declared to the Tax Administration’s Income Register.
To this end, the winner must provide the information required for the declaration when collecting the prize.
The data collected in the competitions will be processed in accordance with Naturpolis Ltd’s Privacy Policy and will not be disclosed to third parties.
Naturpolis Ltd will take care of the notification and payment of any lottery tax.   Updated 4.4.2022
